port : 8080
* create a connection and enter the number to be dialed as *99***1#
* enter the following string as extra initialization command
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","celloneportal"
* now dial from pc, the connection will be established
* pick the phone and open “web” open “wap.cellone.in” the phone shows error .
* close “web” and then from the browser open http://www.google.com and voila!

Hack free Idea , BSNL, Airtale GPRS .
.. For Edge
1) First you need to enable Edge for your number with some package provided by your provider, call customer care
a) I use Airtel Mobile Office it is 90/- per week unlimited usage for prepaid connection. (for post paid it is 140/-)
b) APN for Mobile Office is 'airtelgprs.com'
c) I belive there was free Egde/GPRS from Airtel earlier, its APN is 'airtelfun.com'
2) 'E' symbols comes if your provider has edge/gprs, even if you don't configure.

Connection name: IDEA_GPRS
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access point name: imis
User name:
Prompt password: No
Password:
Authentication: Normal
Homepage:http://wap.ideafresh.com
Connection security: Off
Session mode: Permanent
Proxy serv. address: 10.4.42.15:8080

Select Services, Choose IdeaFreshGPRS as the default access point.

Access point name: mmsc
User name:
Prompt password: No
Password:
Authentication: Normal Homepage = http://10.4.42.21:8002
